"IT'S NOT A WALKOVER FOR US" - MWASE
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers head coach, Meke Mwase, says he expects a tough game when they play Bangwe All Stars in the Airtel Top 8 first leg of the Quarterfinal match but his boys are well prepared for the game.
He said this ahead of the match on Sunday at the Kamuzu Stadium and highlighted the need to do well in the game as they want to win the tournament this season.
"We are ready to face Bangwe, the FDH Bank is gone and now we have the Airtel Top 8, the boys have prepared very well and we have worked in all departments and we are hoping that we will win this game." Said Mwase.
He said that the coming of new coach at the team means nothing to them as they will face same players that have been struggling with the team in the League and that they have prepared in all departments.
The Nomads have ever won this tournament once in 2022 when they beat FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, now the defending Champions, in the final.

Raphael Nkhoma's first half strike was enough to diffuse a naughty Hammers when playing at home as the visitors managed to defend their lead till the final whistle.
Head coach for the team, Kondwa Ikwanga, said his team could have done better to defend the goal they conceded but added that his defense has been betraying the team much this season.
"It was a fair game, we just gave themselves a room to play but otherwise we could have won the game in the first half but we underrated Karonga United so we conceded the goal which we could have defended then in the second half, too much pressures, long and high balls so we could have won the game." Said Ikwanga.
He further said that fans need to get worried with the team's losses which are as a result of a poor de
defense and has run out of ideas on how to train them.
The team remain third on the standings with 31 points from 20 games they have played so far in this season.

Reacting to the results, head coach Andrew Bunya said that his team played very well in the first half in the match they were supposed to win.
"It was a good match, the guys played very well and we were supposed to win that why we came hard on our friends, we tried to push them into their half, we created spaces and the transition from the defense to attack was just good only that we failed to put the ball into the net but we have seen, we need to improve
on this, we have been creating many chances but scoring is a problem." Said Bunya.
Dynamos are 11th on the table as they have managed to collect 24 points from 19 games they have played this seaso
NYANGULU'S FIRST CRECK GOAL FAILS TO SECURE A WIN

He said: "We have played a 1-1 draw against Dedza, it was a good match the boys put much effort so that we get a positive result but we got chances which we failed to convert and also we made some few mistakes, we conceded maybe 10 to 15 minutes before the end of the match so we are lucky we have seen our problems, we will go back to our
drawing board and correct them." Said Mtetemera.
Meanwhile, he said that he does not have pressure after returning with a draw but rather it is a motivation to him to work extra hard in the coming games.
