MOYALE BREAKS BANKERS HOME POINT BOX
Moyale Barracks has become the first team in the 2024 season to leave at Silver Stadium unharmed after forcing Silver Strikers to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon.
Emmanuel Allan scored an opener for the visitors on 23rd minute before Zebron Kalima cancelling out the scores 7 minutes later and an outstanding performance of Olyce Nkhwazi denied the Bankers a winner.
Head coach for the team, Prichard Mwansa, said a point taken away from home is precious but lamented his players for not being clinical upfront.
He said: "It was a good game the boys played very well although it was a tough one but they really fought only that we got good chances which we could have won this match but our finishing part was not good so a point away from home is not bad."
The Kaning'ina Lions are on position 6 with 28 points from 19 games in the League having won 6 games, drawn 10 times and lost 4 times.
