KARONGA UNITED WIN DELIGHTS COACH
Karonga United head coach, Oscar Kaunda, has thanked his boys for their hard working performance at the Mzuzu Stadium that saw his youthful side claiming an away 0-1 win over Mzuzu City Hammers on Saturday afternoon.
He said this after recording the win thanks to a Raphael Nkhoma's first half goal in a match where they did not have their reliable players like Blessings Mwalilino.
He said: "It was a good game and I thanked the boys for their brilliant performance and we have won, Hammers is a good team with good players but they fought until the final whistle, I am happy for them."
He said he dropped some elite players for the team as they are not performing well current so he had to give a chance to some new players who have paid him the trust.
The team has now gone up to position 8 on the log table as they have 26 points from 20 games they have played this season.
