Timu ya Masters FC yatsimikiza kuti itenga nawo mbali mu mpikisano wa Mwini Mzinda Charity omwe akupangitsa ndi mfumu ya mzinda wa Lilongwe.

Mighty Wanderers has announced the return of Former Super League of Malawi President, Mr Tiyasomba Banda, as the team's board member.

Banda resigned from his position last year due to conflict of duties he was serving at that time.

He will be in the Football and Development Committee and also the commercialisation committee.

Kayuni extends contract with Karonga

Karonga United has announced that they have extended the contract of attacker, Casto Kayuni, who has penned a one year deal with the team.

This comes a day after reports that the player is on move to Masters FC after delivering a masterpiece performance in the Northern Region Bonanza over the weekend.

Speaking after signing the new deal, Kayuni expressed his happiness over the deal saying he is eager to help the team greatly.

"I am happy to be at Karonga United, and I am ready to continue working hard to contribute to the club's success," he said.

Kayuni has already been handed the shirt numbef 10 for the team this season following the departure of Allen Chihana who has joined Ekhaya FC.

Babatunde's goal-drought continues at Venda

Flames forward, Babatunde Adepoju, continues to struggle to find goals at Venda Football Club after managing to score only one goal since his return from a loan deal at FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in January.

On Wednesday, the Nigerian born forward was handed only 8 minutes as he came off the bench in the 82nd minute as they lost 3-1 to Upington Town in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

It has been 8 games since he got a goal as the team also still struggle in the league, bottling their good start in the early games of the season.

The team sits 10th in the standings with 27 points from 23 games and they are remaining with 7 games to wind up their campaign this season.
