"Who is signing players?" - Mitambo asks
Sports analyst Justin Mitambo has expressed his surprise, questioning who is making signings at FCB Nyasa Big Bullets after they reportedly agreed with several players despite hunting for a new coach.
On Monday, the team announced that they have reached an agreement with Karonga United to sign their goalkeeper, McLean Mwale, as he will be part of their squad for next season.
Meanwhile, Mitambo has expressed his worry over the signings, saying they could be victims if the new coach hasn't fitted them into his plan.
"They are now hunting for a coach, but they're still signing players. Who is at the center of it? Does he know the plans of the coach? Will the players fit into his system? I just don't know," he said.
He also gave an example of what happened to Chikumbutso Henderson, who was signed from Mzuzu City Hammers when Bullets had no coach and was released by Peter Mponda, who disliked his play.
