"WE MISSED OUR PLAN FOR THE GAME" - MPINGANJIRA
Malawi Under 20 head coach, Bob Mpinganjira, says his team failed to play according to what they planned to play against South Africa and that led to concede a lot of goals in the match.
He said this after team's 5-0 defeat in the hands of South Africa in their COSAFA Youth Championship opener in Mozambique on Friday.
He said, "We first congratulate South Africa for their win, we did not play according to our plan, we gave away many balls on the midfield mostly in the first half and conceded silly goals that could have been defended."

Following the heavy defeat, the Junior Flames will anchor the Group C with no point while South Africa and Comoros lead with 3 points and Lesotho has also no point on third.

KALIATI EARNS COACHES PRAISE
Red hot midfielder, Isaac Kaliati, has been named as an important player to Mighty Mukuru Wanderers this season after his impressive performance is dragging the Nomads to Championship race.
This has been said by the team's Deputy coach, Bob Mpinganjira, who said they are happy with how the player is performing in the current season after he netted five goals and three assists in their 10-0 win over Baka City.
Mpinganjira said, "He is having a very good season and he is sharp. In most of the chances that he is getting he is scoring and we are happy with what he is doing."
The player is currently leading the scoring chart as he has 14 goals and second on most assists with 7, one behind Macdonald Lameck of Silver Strikers and his teammate Gaddie Chirwa.
The 26 year old has already won 6 player of the match awards this season and two player of the month award at Wanderers which puts him on a pole position to win the player of the season award.
"THIS CAN BE OUR TURNING POINT" - MTETEMERA
Creck Sporting Club head coach, Macdonald Mtetemera, says his team can return to winning ways and start scoring goals after failing to do so in the past two games when they face FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the TNM Super League on Wednesday.
He said this ahead of the match at the Kamuzu Stadium saying he knows it will be a tough match but they will fight in order to secure a win.
"It's going to be a tough match indeed but we are ready to face Bullets, we drew 1-1 in the first round but this time, we will fight in order for us to get a win. This could be our turning points as we may find goals and possibly get a win in this match." Said Mtetemera.
He further ask the team's supporters to come in large numbers as they will be awarded with a win.
The team is on position 4 with 31 points from 20 games in their debut season.
KARONGA UNDECIDED ON HOME GROUND
In a twist of events, Karonga United are yet to make a decision on whether to return to the Karonga Stadium or continue using the Rumphi Stadium as their home ground after finishing their three match ban given by Football Association of Malawi.
This has been communicated through the team's Facebook page saying the team's General Secretary, Ramzy Simwaka, said the team will discuss on their stand following an impressive run in Rumphi.
He said, "We have played three games at Rumphi, we managed to collect seven points out of nine which is good for us and we are happy, going forward we will sit down as executive to discuss."
The team has Karonga played a goalless draw against Kamuzu Barracks, won 1-0 against Baka City and 3-1 victory against MAFCO FC at the Rumphi Stadium.
However, Coach Oscar Kaunda said his boys are ready to play at any ground either Rumphi Stadium or Karonga Stadium as home and will play Chitipa United at the facility.
