KARONGA UNDECIDED ON HOME GROUND
In a twist of events, Karonga United are yet to make a decision on whether to return to the Karonga Stadium or continue using the Rumphi Stadium as their home ground after finishing their three match ban given by Football Association of Malawi.
This has been communicated through the team's Facebook page saying the team's General Secretary, Ramzy Simwaka, said the team will discuss on their stand following an impressive run in Rumphi.
He said, "We have played three games at Rumphi, we managed to collect seven points out of nine which is good for us and we are happy, going forward we will sit down as executive to discuss."
The team has Karonga played a goalless draw against Kamuzu Barracks, won 1-0 against Baka City and 3-1 victory against MAFCO FC at the Rumphi Stadium.
However, Coach Oscar Kaunda said his boys are ready to play at any ground either Rumphi Stadium or Karonga Stadium as home and will play Chitipa United at the facility.
