MALAWI U-20 READY FOR SOUTH AFRICA CRASH
Malawi U-20 National Football team coach, Bob Mpinganjira, says his team is good to face South Africa and hopes for a better result on Friday in their match opener at the U-20 COSAFA Youth Championship in Mozambique.
He said this ahead of the match and said his team has prepared very well as the molare is high in the camp amongst the boys.
He said, "The preparations have been going well from Malawi where we had our camp, the boys look very ready for this tournament and today we just made some runs and body stretching outside the hotel, then we will work with the ball in the afternoon on the pitch we will play tomorrow." Said Mpinganjira.
Meanwhile, he said every player is for except one player who was ill but now is recovering and could be up for selection in their coming matches.
The tournament will also act as qualifiers for the U-20 African Cup of Nations apart from fighting for the Championship.
