FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, was left furious with officiating team lead by Shaibu Cassim as he said referees are failing to protect his players leading to too much injuries in his camp..

He said this after the team's 1-0 win over MAFCO on Sunday afternoon at the Kamuzu Stadium where MAFCO players were seen deliberately stepping on Wongani Lungu's leg but he just flashed a yellow card.

He said,"Not a tough match ever since but we are playing the officials officiating the match I have been quiet all this time but it is very unprofessional, of all the games that we play, I always say I'm not a referee but what I have seeing from day one is uncalled-for, we need professionalism in our Football if we want to improve."

He however said that his team is slowly gaining momentum as they are moving up into the League and will make sure to remain consistent enough so they finish on a high note.

PASUWA WORRIED WITH BULLETS' INCONSISTENCY

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, says his team is lacking consistency this season as their main problem as they could play well in a game and drop their performance in the following game.

The Zimbabwean tactician said this ahead of the team's match against MAFCO on Sunday afternoon where at first was worried about the team's travelling and playing in only just four games putting his squad at risk injuries.

He further said his team needs to step up in their games as they need to perform equally in their matches if they are to get more points.

SILWIMBA TO BECOME A DRIVER AT WANDERERS

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers left back, Timothy Silwimba, will undergo a driving course at Pemba Driving school amounting K700,000 after being voted as the player of the month of September.

This has been known on Wednesday when the team awarded him at half time of the game they beat FOMO 1-0 at the Kamuzu Stadium.

He has beaten Isaac Kaliati, whom fans said two are together enough already for him and Silwimba has to win this time, and also goalkeeper William Thole for the award.

Apart from securing the course, he has also been given K300,000 from Pemba Rubber stamp.

Silver Strikers head coach, Peter Mponda, says his team is not looking at other teams who are coming behind them as what he knows now is that they are in control of the League.

He said this after being held to a goalless draw against Bangwe All Stars at the Balaka Stadium to drop two points giving an advantage to second placed Mighty Mukuru Wanderers to cut their gap to five points.

The former Flames captain said what he knows is that they are in control of the League and they are focusing on the game.

"We are not at teams that are behind us, we are just focusing on our games, we should take points and move on, what I just is that we are in control." Said Mponda.

The next assignment for the Bankers was to travel to Aubrey Dimba Stadium and play Creck Sporting Club but has been postponed due to Flames' early trip to Senegal.

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers head coach, Meke Mwase, says he does not want to talk about other teams as his main focus is to play and win games they are playing in the TNM Super League.

He said this after trimming the gap on Silver Strikers to five points in the League following a 1-0 win over FOMO FC on Wednesday at the Kamuzu Stadium.

"I don't like to talk about other teams, we are focusing on our games, we should play games and win then we move onto another match." Said Mwase.

About the game, he thanked his boys for working hard in order to get maximum points despite a poor performance after getting their goal.

"Let me thank the boys for working hard to win this game, we scored an early goal which was according to our plan but then we failed to do what we wanted but what we wanted was three points." Added Mwase.

He said this after the team's 0-0 draw against Bangwe All Stars at the Balaka Stadium where he said it is a frustrating draw but they will pick a point which will help them in their race for the League.

"It was a frustrating draw, we were playing a team that was more defensive and did not come to win, we are fighting for the Championship and we deserved to win but we will take the point to our home, they [Bangwe] are very happy but I don't think that point will help them." Said Mponda.

He said his team is not focusing on the team that is coming behind them but what they see is that they are top of the League.

Bangwe All Stars head coach, Trevor Kajawa says he is happy with how his has played against Silver Strikers of which he says it a better performance than in the games against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.

He said this after holding the Bankers to a 0-0 draw at the Balaka Stadium where he state that hard work of the players is helping them to perform better in their games.

"I am impressed with the performance of the players, I should say we have played according to what we planned. Today's performance has been better than the Wanderers and Bullets games, the best are enjoying Football, working together and working hard which is doing good for us." Said Kajawa.

He further said he strongly believes that his team can now survive relegation with how they are performing in the league as they have collected 7 points in the past three games.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa says that after having a tough match against Baka City, he sees the next games coming as more than tougher than the Baka game as most teams will be coming harder on them.

He said this ahead of the team's match against Mzuzu City Hammers on Wednesday at the Mpira Stadium and was left worried of over travelling but said his team is managing the recovery part of it.

"Travelling a lot which needs also a lot of recovery in the boys and we've trying to manage the recovery part of it as you it's human body it needs also rest but unfortunately after playing a game one you travel and in the next day, you come train one day and you play, but we have to be prepared of it and tough game that we played against Baka and we expect each and every team to meet to be tough more than what Baka did to us we need to be positive in our approach." Flames U-20 head coach, Bob Mpinganjira says his boys are still in the process of learning and that if team is kept all together, it will be a strong one in the near future as it has a best cream of players.

He said this after the team's 3-2 defeat over Lesotho U-20 as they are knocked out of the competition and miss out the U-20 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers in the process.
