SILWIMBA TO BECOME A DRIVER AT WANDERERS
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers left back, Timothy Silwimba, will undergo a driving course at Pemba Driving school amounting K700,000 after being voted as the player of the month of September.
This has been known on Wednesday when the team awarded him at half time of the game they beat FOMO 1-0 at the Kamuzu Stadium.
He has beaten Isaac Kaliati, whom fans said two are together enough already for him and Silwimba has to win this time, and also goalkeeper William Thole for the award.
Apart from securing the course, he has also been given K300,000 from Pemba Rubber stamp.
Wisdom Mpinganjira, Blessings Singini, Isaac Kaliati, Sama Thierry Tanjong and Kaliati again have won the similar awards in April, May, June, July, August respectively.
