AWFUL START FOR THE JUNIOR FLAMES
Malawi U-20 National Football team has started the 2024 U-20 COSAFA Championship on a bad note after suffering a 5-0 defeat over South Africa on Friday afternoon in Mozambique.
The team made a remarkable start when Adiel Kaduya was denied by the goal post on 7th minute but April fired a brace on 35th and 45th minutes to put the Amajita on a 2-0 lead at half time.
A goal from Ahshene on 49 minutes extended their lead with Letlhaku's 69 minute goal and that of Mbokazi on 75 minutes killed off the game.
