"WE ARE LACKING A LEADER" - PASUWA
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, says his team is failing to be consistent in their performances this season as they lack a leader who can be talking to the boys in the game.
He said this ahead of their Airtel Top 8 semi final match against Kamuzu Barracks at the Bingu National Stadium and said if there was a leader who can be communicating to the boys in their matches they can do better.
He further said against Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos, they thought the presence of Clyde Senaji could bring changes but they were attacked now and then. He also said his team is missing too many chances.
"We need to work with our last third of attack you saw on Thursday we were missing many chances getting into the box we miss the chance we come again we keep on missing then the opponent comes once then we are punished and also after being punished the response will also be down yes we have been scored we need to look up and play football and look
for that equaliser or a winner of the day so its also character that makes us also to win games." Said Pasuwa.

KUMWEMBE SCORES IN BUFFALOES WIN
Malawian forward, Christopher Kumwembe, was on target as Green Buffaloes beat Mutondo Stars 1-4 in the MTN Super League in Zambia on Sunday afternoon.
The towering forward opened the scores on 45th minute in the first half before Eric Choma, Golden Mashata and Perkins Mumba Mwale scoring a goal each in the second half while Titus Chansa netted the consolation goal for the hosts.
This marks Christopher Kumwembe's second goal for the team in Zambia where he is playing on loan from Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.

Bangwe All Stars has moved out of the TNM Super League relegation zone after beating Moyale Barracks 1-0 at the Balaka Stadium on Sunday.
Kondwani Chilembwe scored the much needed goal on 76th minute of the game to seal the win for the Blantyre based side.
However, the team has also to praise Civil Service United which sealed a comeback 1-2 win over FOMO FC to enable Bangwe move out of the red line for the first time in almost 5 months.

BAKA SAYS THEY ARE TIRED OF LOSING
Baka City assistant coach, Davie Kayira, says his team is very tired of losing and they will just finish their remaining games in order to start all over again in the Northern Region Football League with the hope of returning to the elite League in 2026.
He said this after the team lost 2-3 on post match penalties to non League side, Hilltop FC after a 1-1 draw in the 90 minutes at the Karonga Stadium on Saturday and said his team lost because they underrated their opponents.
He further said that his team needs to be rebuilt when they go to the lower but as for now, things are worse than before.
"I think there's nothing more left here, we are tired of losing and what will do is to just finish our games so that we go back to the lower league and maybe we may come again next year." Said Kayira.

Scorchers Youngster, Rose Kabzere, has scored her first goal for Montpellier in France as the team beat Guingamp 7-0 in the Arkema Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

GAMPHANI RESCUE BULLETS AGAINST FAMILIAR STRANGERS
Super Substitute, Lameck Gamphani, netted a 96th minute equaliser to deny his former team, Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos their first away win of the season as FCB Nyasa Big Bullets played a 1-1 draw at the Kamuzu Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
Babatunde Adepoju saw his penalty kick brilliantly saved by Donnex Mwakasinga in the first half before Substitute Ibrahim Sadick fired the hosts ahead when Marco Chiwaya did well to challenge Gomegzani Chirwa but Gamphani had to come off the bench to rescue the Palestinians in hands of his former side which had a man less following the red card of Khumbo Banda on 81st minute.
Head coach for the People's team, Kalisto Pasuwa, said his team missed a lot of chances leading to their struggle in the match.
"You could see the body language in some of the players the way we were playing unfortunately we got our chances but we could utilize them and the opposition got one and they punished us and most of
the second half they were leading us we tried as much as we can looking an equaliser and we got it in the last minute." Said Pasuwa.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa says he can not comment on the rumours linking him to Flames coaching role as he is an FCB Nyasa Big Bullets coach not Flames coach.
The Zimbabwean said this on Wednesday during a media briefing ahead of his team's match against Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos on Thursday at the Kamuzu Stadium.
He said it is hard to speak on things he does not know and not being even approached by Football Association of Malawi.

WANDERERS RETURN TO WINNING WAYS
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers are back to winning ways after the team sealed a comeback 1-2 win over Chitipa United to end their two game loss in the TNM Super League on Wednesday.
Gaddie Chirwa's long range cancelled out a Rajab Nyirenda's opener before goalkeeper Davie Ndili punching the ball from Wisdom Mpinganjira into his own net to seal a comeback win at the Karonga Stadium.
Head coach, Meke Mwase thanked his boys for working extra hard to seal the much needed win.
"We are happy to win this game and today's workrate of the boys was good, we had a very good first half which we failed to score and in the second half, we conceded a goal but the boys tried and we won the game." Said Mwase.
He has however said the team will not stop pushing as everything is still there and it is not over for them.
The Nomads are still second on the log table with 47 points from 24 games in the League, 7 points behind leaders Silver Strikers.
KAMWENDO SENDS CRECK BACK INTO TOP 8
Creck Sporting Club have moved from number 10 to position 6 in the TNM Super League log table after the team recorded a 1-3 win over Civil Service United with Joseph Kamwendo in charge in a match played at the Champions Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
George Chaomba scored twice on either side of Damiano Kunje's goal before Muhammad Sulumba sealing the win in the second half as the rookies returned to winning after staying for many weeks without a win under the suspended Macdonald Mtetemera.
Interim coach, Joseph Kamwendo, thanked his boys for playing according to their plan.
"We are very happy for the win I think the boys played according to our plan, we knew it was going to be a tough game as we were also playing away but our approach in this game was positive from the word go." Said Kamwendo.
Following the win, the team are now 6th from 10th in the League as they have 35 points from 24 games played this season.

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers head coach, Meke Mwase, believes his team still has a chance to win this year's Championship as he says that it is not yet over for the Nomads despite suffering back to back losses.
He said this ahead of the team's match against Chitipa United at the Karonga Stadium on Wednesday and said the team was in painful defeats in the past week but they are looking forward to bounce back.
He further said the team will still fight for this year's Championship as they will stop the fight once it is confirmed that it is out of their reach.
"It is said that it is not over until it is over so we are still fighting and hope our boys will fight for the League so we believe in them and come tomorrow, we will be looking for a positive result." Said Mwase.

Macdonald Mtetemera has been suspended for the second time this season due to poor results.
The former Chitipa United head coach was suspended in the first round I'm what the club described it as failure to fulfil some of his target and after his comeback, he has failed to record a win.

Football Association of Malawi has resorted in the firing of Flames coach, Patrick Mabedi following poor strings of results from the team in their recent match.
The Association had made the announcement on Tuesday evening after an emergency meeting on Monday which agreed in parting ways with the former captain for failure to fulfil his targets.
