WANDERERS RETURN TO WINNING WAYS
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers are back to winning ways after the team sealed a comeback 1-2 win over Chitipa United to end their two game loss in the TNM Super League on Wednesday.
Gaddie Chirwa's long range cancelled out a Rajab Nyirenda's opener before goalkeeper Davie Ndili punching the ball from Wisdom Mpinganjira into his own net to seal a comeback win at the Karonga Stadium.
Head coach, Meke Mwase thanked his boys for working extra hard to seal the much needed win.
"We are happy to win this game and today's workrate of the boys was good, we had a very good first half which we failed to score and in the second half, we conceded a goal but the boys tried and we won the game." Said Mwase.
He has however said the team will not stop pushing as everything is still there and it is not over for them.
The Nomads are still second on the log table with 47 points from 24 games in the League, 7 points behind leaders Silver Strikers.
