KAMWENDO SENDS CRECK BACK INTO TOP 8
Creck Sporting Club have moved from number 10 to position 6 in the TNM Super League log table after the team recorded a 1-3 win over Civil Service United with Joseph Kamwendo in charge in a match played at the Champions Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
George Chaomba scored twice on either side of Damiano Kunje's goal before Muhammad Sulumba sealing the win in the second half as the rookies returned to winning after staying for many weeks without a win under the suspended Macdonald Mtetemera.
Interim coach, Joseph Kamwendo, thanked his boys for playing according to their plan.
"We are very happy for the win I think the boys played according to our plan, we knew it was going to be a tough game as we were also playing away but our approach in this game was positive from the word go." Said Kamwendo.
Following the win, the team are now 6th from 10th in the League as they have 35 points from 24 games played this season.
