SAIZI IN AN UNFORGETTABLE DEBUT

Flames midfielder, Robert Gomez Saizi, had a hard start to his life at ZANACO after substituted after 35 minutes in his team's 5-0 loss at Mufulira Wanderers on his first game on Saturday afternoon.

Weeks after completing his move to the Bankers, Saizi was in the team's starting 11 players alongside Chawanangwa Kaonga and Evance Chisenga opened the scored in just less than 90 seconds.

The Bankers were completely dismantled as Clive Biyeta doubled the scores on 30th minute before Maite completing 47 passes to score the third through Patson Kwataine on 34th minute.

The Bankers made a double change a minute later with Saizi going off the match but Chisenga and Kwataine completed the braces to complete the riot.

Meanwhile, Kaonga lasted for 64 minutes as he was also replaced by Francis Banda in the team's final change.

CHAWINGA SCORES ON WORLD'S PANGOLIN DAY

Scorchers captain, Tabitha Chawinga, is seriously chasing for the golden boot award in France after scoring her 11th goal of the season in PSG's 5-0 win over Guingamp in the D1 Arkema on Saturday.

Chawinga was rested in the midweek in a cup game but had to be restored in the starting Eleven and netted the team's second goal on 28th minute for the Parisans to lead 2-0 at half.

The goal means she is now a joint top scorer with 11 goals and 7 assists in the league. She is nicknamed pangolin in Malawi and ironically, the day is the world's pangolin day.
