Chitipa United says financial challenges facing the team have affected its performance in 2020/2021 TNM Super League.
The club's Manager, Watson Kabaghe has revealed this to Owinna.

Gabadinho Mhango has been ruled out for Flames AFCON assignment on Monday against Uganda.
Mhango will miss the Uganda game due to suspension after receiving a second yellow card on Wednesday.
Minister of Sports, Ulemu Msungama, has urged the football fraternity to support teams that are coming up with innovative ways of soliciting funds to run operations of their clubs.
Msungama has made the plea following Civil Service move of selling replica jerseys to football fans.
The Sports Minister has since pledged to buy his jersey at 100, 000 Kwacha.
Speaking to Owinna, Civil Service General Secretary, Ronald Chiwaula, revealed that the jerseys are being sold at an alarming rate.
Chiwaula said the club begun the sale of the replica jerseys just after they were recovered by the Police.

Mwase is expecting South Africa based players to arrive in Sudan.
