"FLAMES WILL SWEAT TO QUALIFY" - ANALYST
One of the country's Football analysts, Justin Mitambo, said it will not be a simple job for Malawi to qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations as they have faced a tough draw in the Qualifying games.
Mitambo said this after the Flames being drawn in Group L of the Qualifying campaign in a draw held on Friday in Johannesburg, South Africa, alongside giants, Senegal and Burkina Faso and Burundi in the group and believes there is no easy ride in the group.
"The draw is very challenging, we will meet teams which are not easy to beat. We have seen Burundi drawing against Kenya in World cup qualifiers, talking of Burkina Faso it's a team we have been struggling with we can't beat it easily, Senegal is favourite in AFCON we can't stop it," said Mitambo.
Meanwhile, the Blantyre based analysts further said that the team needs to go and fight as there is no small team in modern Football and also have to use a home ground advantage in the group.
