2022 football season to commence on 5th March

The 2022 football season will commence on March 5 and not on 26th February as earlier communicated by the Super League of Malawi.

The season will commence with a Charity Shield and a week later TNM Super League will start.

Blue Eagles will tomorrow, Wednesday conduct trials from 8:00 CAT at the IGs Parade Ground.

According to the club, players attending the trials should cover their logistics costs and training kits.

Super League of Malawi (Sulom) says 2022 TNM Super League will commence on 26th February.

Sulom General Secretary Williams Banda has confirmed the development saying the transfer window opened on 1 January.

Super League of Malawi (Sulom) will todag handover the Mazda Demio vehicle to Nyasa Big Bullets midfielder Chimwemwe Idana who has been voted as the 2020/21 TNM Super League Player of the Season.

Sulom have confirmed the development in a statement issued yesternight.

According to Sulom the ceremony will take place at Ndirande Community Centre.

The Player of the Season is also based in Ndirande.
