"WE HAVEN'T ACHIEVED ANYTHING" - MPONDA
Silver Strikers head coach, Peter Mponda, said that his team is yet to achieve anything at the team despite finishing top in the TNM Super League first round and that they have more to fight in the second half.
He said this after their 0-0 draw against Moyale Barracks at the Mzuzu Stadium which he said he was satisfied with the result and said his team needs to fight more to achieve more this season.
"We haven't achieved anything yet but I think we are in a right path where if we work hard we can do better this season, we have a big gap yes but if we fall, the teams that are chasing us can cover the gap so we need to work." Said Mponda.
Meanwhile, Mponda has also ruled out that his team has already won the league saying 15 games is enough for another team to cover the gap.
The Bankers are top of the standings with 37 points from 15 games after recording 11 wins and 4 draws this season.
