Civo United was the biggest casualty in FDH Bank Cup after they lost to Sable Farming, a team which plays in lower division Thumbs Up Southern Region Premier Division in post match penalties.

Other notable casualties include Karonga United and TN Stars who play in TNM Super League. The winner will walk away with 25 million Kwacha cash plus a trophy.
