PASUWA NOT SATISFIED WITH THE KARONGA STADIUM
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Callisto Pasuwa, said playing in grounds like that of Karonga Stadium is not healthy for the players and Malawi needs to improve on playing facilities.
The Zimbabwean tactician said this after his team's 0-3 win over Chitipa United at the waterlogged Karonga Stadium and said no team can display good football at a pitch like it.
"I want to talk to the condition of the pitch, we won but I won't leave this happening, remember we have played two games then you know in the next game you lose three four five players in the game and I think we need to do more in terms of how we are having our pitch in our local games in order for us also to have good Football." Said Pasuwa.
He further said the League is used also as preparations for the CAF Champions League but with these kind of facilities, a team can just lose players to injury without training anything.
