Mchema manhandles Blue Eagles as KB end first round on high
Francis Mchema netted two goals and assisted Zeliat Nkhoma for the third as Kamuzu Barracks thumped Blue Eagles 3-0 in a match played at the Champions Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Soldiers were on fire as Mchema got his brace inside first 45 minutes and despite some brilliant attacks in the second half, Mchema set up Nkhoma to spice up the hammering and end the first round on high.
Head coach for the team, Nicolas Mhango, siluted his boys for a massive performance in the game which earned them maximum points.
"I have to thank the boys for their massive performance today, it was tough as both teams began well but I think our early goal gave us an advantage in the game a lot, it is good that we have claimed a win at home." Said Mhango.
The team rose up to 6th on the log table with 22 points from 15 games having won 6 games, drawn four and lost five times in the League.
