AARON, SENAJI, SINGO, SALIMA CLEARED FOR ARROWS MATCH
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will have every player that has travelled with the team to Zambia for the return match of the CAF Champions League Preliminary round against Zambian Champions, Red Arrows, as the team doctors have cleared all players who were doubtful fit for the match.
The team's head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, confirmed about the news on Friday in a Pre-match interviews with the Zambian Press and the likes of Lloyd Aaron, Clyde Senaji, Yankho Singo and Chikumbutso Salima are all set to feature for the People's team.
He said: "We travelled from on Thursday and we came with the boys ready and yes we had some knocks, one or two in the team but again the doctors satisfied them to be ready for the match and we hope by tomorrow everyone will be okay"
The Zimbabwean tactician further said that he knows that Red Arrows will be a tough side to play at home but the team has set plans to diffuse the Airmen and match up to glory.
"We played first half of 90 minutes in Lilongwe and we are here for the second half of it. We are playing a very structured team, very very experienced side and we know what we are expecting from these guys, they will come on us and I think we have plan B for it," he added.
He also said the team's struggle in the 2024 season was due to last season's injuries plus a new team formed by players who had just been promoted from their Reserve side but now the team is motivated with their recent wins.
Meanwhile, the team vice captain, Clyde Senaji also said that as his coach stated, him and his fellow players are ready to take down Arrows.
The People's team are going into the match with a 2-1 lead following their victory in the first leg at the Bingu National Stadium and the winner of both legs will have to play TP Mazembe in the second round of the Preliminary round of the tournament.
