Mithi's hat-trick fires Nomads third in FDH Premiership

Mighty Wanderers starlet, Lameck Mithi, scored a hat trick to inspires the team to a comfortable 4-1 win over Karonga to move up to third in the FDH Premiership in a match played at the Mpira Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The Nomads dominated the game from the start with series of attacks and Isaac Kaliati opened the scores in the 15th minute before assisting Mithi in the 22nd minute to double the lead.

Karonga United pulled one back through substitute Alex Benson in the 34th minute but a two goal lead was restored by Mithi four minutes later.

After a low second half performance, the Nomads reignited the dominance in the last 10 minutes with Mithi completing a hat trick in the 88th minute to seal the win.

Head coach Bob Mpinganjira was happy with the win.
