BURUNDI TO USE BINGU AS HOME GROUND
Burundi National Football team will use the Bingu National Stadium as their home ground when they play Senegal in the 2025 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers next month.
This comes after the country shown interest to use the facility for the continental tournament together with other countries such as Zimbabwe and Kenya.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe will use Uganda for their home ground when they play Kenya in their group match while Kenya has snub Malawi as Burundi had more fans when they meet last time due to the presence of Dzaleka Refugee camp in Malawi.
In the past years, Ethiopia and Kenya have used the pitch as their home ground after seeing the hospitality in Malawi.
