Ekhaya hit four past KB
Ekhaya FC have secured their second win in the FDH Premiership after beating thrashing 10-man Kamuzu Barracks 4-1 at the Champions Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Cowboys claimed their first win last week when they beat Moyale Barracks 2-0 and went to Mponela in search of a second straight win under interim coach Fundi Akidu.
Levison Mnyenyembe and Charles Mafaiti put the team in control with goals in the first half before James Lumbe and James Stambuli were on target in the second half with Rashid Chilomo grabbing a consolation goal for the hosts.
The Cowboys interim coach, Fundi Akidu, said their early goals into the game helped them to control their opponents and claiming a big win.
"The boys are now getting used to each other which is looking good and I believe we will maintain the momentum so that we pick more points in the League," said Akidu.
The win took Ekhaya up to 6th on the table with 7 points from two wins, one draw and two defeats.
