CHITIPA HAPPY WITH ONE POINT AGAINST WANDERERS
Chitipa United head coach, Kondwa Ikwanga, said he was impressed with the performance of his team against Mighty Wanderers and that a point gained from the match is vital for them.
He said this after denying the Nomads a win in a goalless draw at the Chitipa Stadium to collect two points from them this season and Ikwanga believes the team will produce good results in their coming matches
''The point is important because those teams behind us are coming with full intensity as they want to avoid relegation so we have moved on the log table and i am happy because we have shown that there are more good things coming,'' he said.
He however said his team wanted a win and that they missed it in the first half which they failed to convert their chances.
The Basongo are 10th with 33 points from 8 wins, 9 draws and 9 defeats in the League.
