Moyale unbeaten run ends in Mzuzu Derby loss
Moyale Barracks suffered their first defeat of the season after going down 2-0 to Mzuzu City Hammers in a match played at the Rumphi Stadium on Wednesday afternoon to miss a third spot in the TNM Super League.
The Soldiers dominated in most minutes of the game but Hammers were just getting the goals through Moses Gwayi and Jeremiah Kanyika to claim their first ever League win over the Kaning'ina Lions.
Head coach for the hosts, Prichard Mwansa, described the result as painful as they needed the win much in the game.
"It's a painful result as we have lost here, we played well but then we conceded early in the game which confused our boys then we missed a lot of chances in the game that's why we have lost the game." He said.
Moyale remain 6th in the log table with 13 points from 7 matches having won three, drawn four and lost one match.
