FODYA RETIRES AS A LEGEND
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets long serving member Yamikani Fodya has retired from active football after staying 13 years with the People's team.
The former Flames defender made the announcement on Saturday when he was granted his final minutes in the team's 2-1 win over MAFCO to complete the domestic quadruple with the Airtel Top 8 accolade.
He said he thanks God for giving him an opportunity to play for the best team in Malawi and experience different times with the club.
"I thank God for this opportunity to play for Bullets and finish with the trophy, i thank my fellow players and executive for being there with me, it time to taught the youngsters the pin code for Bullets." Said Fodya.
In his time at Bullets, he has won 7 TNM Super league titles, two Presidents Cups, two FDH Bank Cups, two Airtel Top 8 Cups, one Castel Challenge Cup, one Castel Challenge Cups and 6 Charity Shields.
It is understood that he will be one of the coaches at Bullets Womens Football.
