DIVISION ONE BEATS PREMIER DIVISION AS BETIKA PUMPS K27 MILLION

One of the country's gaming and betting company, Betika, has pumped in K27 million to Southern Region Football Association as they will sponsor the Division One league in 2024 season.

This has been disclosed during a signing on ceremony on Friday as said by the Association's Chair, Raphael Humba during the week.

Meanwhile, Betika's representative, Gift Palavia said the company has thought of sponsoring the league because they believe in developing football from the grassroots.

"The development of Football in the country comes from this league and if we promise it, we will help to bring about new talents for the goodness of our Football." Said Palavia.

However, SRFA Chair, Raphael Humba, said the sponsorship will go towards division one which was played without a sponsor last season with forced them to use a subvention of K15 million from FAM to support the league.
