Bullets sweat to displace Wanderers on league summit
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets came from behind twice before finishing with hearts up after playing a 7-goal thriller against Civil Service United in a 4-3 win at the Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The match witnessed two hat-tricks from either sides as Chikumbutso Salima and Chikaiko Batson both walked away with match balls for their efforts.
Batson scored first at 8 minutes which Peter Banda cancelled out 8 minutes later then Batson restored the lead in the 28th minute but Salima scored twice to put Bullets ahead before half time before netting another in the second half which Batson pulled one back to put the game alive till final whistle.
Assistant coach Gilbert Chirwa said, ''A win is a good result for us because we have not been doing well in the past games but we tried to restore confidence in the boys and today we have seen improvements. This win is a molare booster.''
The win took Bullets up to the top with 53 points
