MAFCO satisfied with one point at Silver

MAFCO continue to enjoy their current form in the TNM Super League after claiming 7 points from three games following a 0-0 draw against Silver Strikers at the Silver Stadium on Thursday.

The Soldiers put a gallant performance into the game after dominating the Bankers in the first half before defending firmly to savage a point into the game thank to Christopher Mikuwa's brilliance on goal.

Head coach for the team, Stereo Gondwe, said walking away with a point away from home is a better result for the team.

"It was a tough game but we were good in the first where we missed chance but we managed to defend in the game an come out with a point against a big team so a point is enough for us." Said Gondwe.

He also said that the youngsters in the team are slowly growing into the game and soon will be at their best as they are adapting in the League.

MAFCO move up to 9th with 14 points from 12 matches after wining four, drawn two and lost 6.
