Substitutes shine as MAFCO beat Dedza

China Chirwa and Dalitso Sato all scored in three minutes after their introduction as an intense-attacking MAFCO claimed a 2-0 win over Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos at the Chitowe Stadium on Monday afternoon.

The Soldiers dominated the game in the first half but failed to get a goal as they missed many chances but their chances in the second half paid off as Chirwa stroke just before the hour-mark and Sato sealed the win in the added minutes of the game.

Head coach for the team, Stereo Gondwe, said he was happy as they needed the three points much in the League.

"I'm happy to claim a win today because we needed these points as you know we have struggled in the past games. We were good in the first half and we could have scored many goals in the first half but we got two in the second half I'm happy." Said Gondwe.

The win is fourth for MAFCO which lies 12th on the table from four wins, one draw and 6 defeats with 13 points.
