"IT WAS SILVER VS BULLETS NOT MPONDA VS PASUWA" - PASUWA

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, quashed sentiments that the Airtel Top 8 final was a meeting between him and his former deputy, Peter Mponda by saying it was Silver Strikers playing FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and that they are just coaches who can leave the teams anytime.

He said this after the match where his team beat the Bankers 0-1 at the Bingu National Stadium to lift the Airtel Top 8 where Mponda said Bullets did not deserve to as they dominated the play but Pasuwa said a cup game needs goals not dominance.

He said: "It was Bullets versus Silver Strikers and I dont think it was Mponda versus Pasuwa. You know us are coaches who come to the team and in the near future we will not be there and we just do our work at the teams." Said Pasuwa.

Meanwhile, the Zimbabwean has become the first ever coach to defend the Airtel Top 8 and now has managed to guide the People's team to their third Top 8 trophy.
