SILVER SIGNS NIGERIA FORWARD, OSAGIE

Silver Strikers has completed the signing of a Nigerian forward, Friday Osagie, who has joined the Bankers in an undisclosed fee from Bangwe All Stars.

The Blantyre based side has confirmed about the departure of the towering forward via their Facebook page and has wished him well.

"Bangwe All Stars can today confirm that Nigerian striker Friday Oriafo Osagie has left the club to join TNM Super league leaders Silver Strikers. We wish Osagie all the best for the future and thank him for his contributions to the club." Wrote the team.

Osagie is a surprise signing for the Bankers as he is not a frequent goal scorer but could be a good signing according to Silver Strikers' 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 system as his strength and height enables him to keep the ball where there are defenders.

Friday has ever played for Ntopwa FC, Destiny FC and had had trials at Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in the past years.
