"ITS A TOUGH MATCH" - MPONDA

Silver Strikers head coach, Peter Mponda, said he anticipates a tough match against Civil Service United on Sunday as Derbies are always big.

He said this ahead of the match on Sunday and said that despite that Civil lost their match to Mighty Mukuru Wanderers last weekend, they play good Football which makes the game tough.

"It's a big game, if you look at numbers they have beaten us four times and we have beaten them three times in 11 games so they are ahead of us so it's time to set out records now." Said Mponda.

Meanwhile, he also said that their 2024 season is more improved than the 2023 season under Peter De Jongh as after 10 games, they have 26 points, two better than last season's points.

The Bankers are still top of the League with 26 points from 10 games having recorded 8 wins and two draws in the 2024 season.
