Patrick Mwaungulu was the main hero of the day after scoring twice as TP Mazembe secured a 3-1 win over Medeama SC in DRC on Saturday.
The win ensured the team place in the second preliminary round with a 4-1 win on aggregate.
Meanwhile, Mwaungulu was replaced by Lanjesi Nkhoma in the 78th minute for Mazembe.
