Red Lions Sodomize Dedza Dynamos to remain unbeaten

The FDH Premiership newly promoted side, Red Lions, produced a dominant display to thrash Goshen City Dedza Dynamos 3-0 and stay unbeaten in their opening three matches at the Zomba Stadium on Sunday.

Mphatso Magaleta netted a first half brace with Matthews Simbeye scoring the other in the second half to secure their first win of the season in style.

Head coach for the team, Malumbo Mkandawire, expressed his excitement over the win as they have utilised their home ground advantage.

"Consistency matters, we played two draws and now we have secured a win so we need to be winning more games just as we did today," said Mkandawire.

Lions kicked off the season with 1-1 draws against Creck Sporting Club and Ekhaya FC in their opening two matches.

The team moved up to fifth on the table with five points from one win and two draws in the League.
