TEMWA NETS HATTRICK IN KC CURRENT WIN

Scorchers vice captain, Temwa Chawinga, scored her first goals of the National Womens Soccer League 2026 season after netting a hat trick in Kansas city Current's 3-0 win over Chicago Stars on Sunday.

Chawinga has been struggling with injuries from last season and she returned with two assists in four matches.

She reminded people of her class with a club record breaking hattrick to secure a win for the team.

Chawinga has got three goals in the League, trailing by five goals to Barbra Banda who leads the golden boot race with 8 goals in USA.
