EKHAYA REGISTER FIRST FDH PREMIERSHIP WIN

Ekhaya FC have finally grabbed their first win of the FDH Premiership season after securing a well deserved 2-0 win over Moyale Barracks at the Mpira Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Blessings Malinda and James Lumbe both scored for the Cowboys in the second half to lift the team into the top half of the League ending their winless start in the League.

The team's interim coach, Fundi Akidu, hailed his boys for their brilliant performance that fired them to the much needed victory.

"We are happy with the win and I must commend the boys for their performance especially in the second half. If they continue to play like this I believe we will do much more better than last season," said Akidu.

He also said the boys lacked composure to get goals in the past matches but he believes it is a start of good things at the team.

The win took the team up from 14th to 8th on the table with four points from one win, one draw and two losses in the League.
