Mlimbika stars on Buffaloes' debut

Scorchers winger, Sarah Mlimbika, provided an assist on her first game for Green Buffaloes as she played for the whole 90 minutes in their 5-0 win over Elite Ladies in the Eden University Super League on Saturday.

Mlimbika was handed a start days after completing her move to the team and assisted Natasha Nanyangwe, who went on to score a hat-trick while Maylan Mulenga and Diana Banda netted the other goals.

She was impressive in the game as her crosses caused havoc in the opposition box and nearly scored from a direct free kick.

Mlimbika has been signed from Kukoma Ntopwa Queens and has penned a two year contract with the league leaders.
