"A draw is a fair result" - Makawa
Civil Service United head coach, Abbas Makawa, said their one point gained away from home in their first second round match is vital as it will help the team somewhere in the TNM Super League.
He said this after they played a 1-1 draw against Creck Sporting Club at the Aubrey Dimba Stadium on Saturday in a match he described as very fair as both teams had chances that could have changed the state of the game.
"It wasn't a tough match as our friends dominated the first 20 minutes but thanks that we managed to contain the pressure then we took over the game until the final minutes, we cleared chances that we could have scored but we missed anyway a point is not bad." Said Makawa.
He also said they are looking forward to claim more points when playing in every game this season so that they finish on a better position as the League keeps on getting heater and tougher.
The team stays 6th on the table with 24 points from 16 games in the League.
