"EVERY FAILURE IS PUSHING ME TO GREATNESS" - KAFOTEKA
Amidst hard times where he has seen his two sides being relegated in the TNM Super League in the past two years, FOMO FC interim coach, Elvis Kafoteka, has remained positive saying that is the beginning of greatness.
He said this after the Mulanje based side got relegated in the League on the final day of the League following a 0-0 draw against Karonga United at the Mulanje Park Stadium.
He said he tried everything so that he could save the team but that was the resultant of the effort.
"In as much as I would have loved to save my team, I ended up coming short again. I gave everything, worked hard, did everything and for sure am so proud of all my players they adapted to my philosophy quickly and we bonded." Wrote Kafoteka.
He has however taken the blame for being relegated in the League saying his players tried everything in order to do better and there is no reason to blame them but still hopes for the best in the future.
"God Has a final say we are out I accept I have failed once more. The best is yet to come, every failure is pushing me to greatness." Wrote Kafoteka sadly.
In 2023, Extreme FC got relegated under his leadership but Football analyst, Ojuku Malunga believes one day Kafoteka will sing a new song.
"Peter Mponda got relegated with Wizards years ago but today we are saying he is the Champion so Kafoteka should not lose hope, everything comes for a reason, he is a good coach and that can not be taken away from him." Said Malunga.
