WANDERERS TRIM GAP ON SILVER TO FOUR
Isaac Kaliati scored five goals and assisted three as Clement Nyondo netted a hat trick to inspire Mighty Mukuru Wanderers to a 10-0 win over Baka City to shorten their gap on Silver Strikers in the title race to just four points.
The Nomads were in blistering form with Misheck Botomani and Gaddie Chirwa also on target as they recorded the biggest win of the season against the struggling rookies.
The team's assistant coach, Bob Mpinganjira, said they advised the boys to score many goals if they can to cover the goal difference on Silver Strikers.
"It was a very good much and I thank the boys for scoring their goals I think it's one of the things that we told them before the match that we need to score goals of chances are found so we are happy.” said Mpinganjira.
He further said that the team will keep on fighting as everything can happen on who can win the League.
