TEMWA SCORES AGAIN IN USA

Scorchers forward, Temwa Chawinga, scored a goal and assisted the other goal as Kansas City Current walloped Portland Thorn 4-1 in the National Women's Soccer League in United States of America on Sunday.

Chawinga assisted the first goal scored by Lo'eau LaBonta after 30 minutes and Pedersen doubled it 8 minutes later before LaBonta completing her brace on 42nd minute.

Three minutes into the second half, Chawinga found the back of the net but was the final for the league Leaders as Sophia Smith scored a consolation but a big goal for her late into the game.

Chawinga has now 9 goals and assisted 6 goals and she stays behind Sophia Smith who has 10 goals and 6 assists and Zambian forward, Barbra Banda, who has also 10 goals and 5 assists.
