TEMWA SCORES FIRST GOAL IN AMERICA

Temwa Chawinga was in high spirits after scoring her first goal plus assisting the team's opener as Kansas City Current beat Angel City 4-2 in American Women's Elite League on Saturday.

Chawinga was called into action on 6th minute after providing an assist for an opener before having four shots on target, three saved by the keeper and one cleared off the line.

She then restored a two goal lead on 50th minute with a powerful shot to make it 3-1 and could have provided a last minute assist but her counterpart's shot was saved on a one on one affair.

This was her third game since joining KC Current and has managed to find a goal plus three assists in her new life in America.
