Chilobwe United are the champions of the Thumbs Up Southern Region Football League after finishing top of the League.

The team sealed the win after beating Nsanje United 1-0 on the final match of the season at the Nsanje Stadium while second placed Ekhaya Reserves lost 2-1 to Nyambadwe United.

Meanwhile, Chilobwe also won the Division One League last year to earn promotion into the SRFL and will now be promoted into the NBS Bank National Division League for the next season.

They finished with 62 points in the League, five ahead of the Cowboys.
