BULLETS OPEN WITH FRUSTRATING DRAW AT CIVO
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have kicked off the 2026-27 football season with dropping points after forced to a frustrating draw following a 2-2 stalemate against Civil Service United at the Civo Stadium on Saturday.
The People's team got off to a promising start as Clever Kalambo netted the first FDH Ptemiership season goal in the 8th minute but John Dambuleni cancelled it before the hourmark.
Substitute George Chaomba restored the lead with his first touch in the 67th minute but 9 minutes later, Khumbo Mhone eclipsed it to snatch a point for Civil.
Head coach Gilbert Chirwa accepted the defeat and noted areas of improvements when into their next match.
"I think we just need coordination at the back and communication so we have seen what we are lacking, we will improve in our next matches," he said.
He also hailed new members of the squad for their impressive start of life at the team with hope that they will deliver more.
