"Qatar and Tunisia offers for Wisdom were useless" - Mpinganjira

Mighty Wanderers President and board chair, Dr Thomson Mpinganjira, said Wisdom Mpinganjira moved to Black Bulls in Mozambique because they had a better offer than those from Qatar and Tunisia.

Mpinganjira said this on Sunday during the Presidential ball award ceremony at the Golden Peacock in Blantyre.

He said that despite fans criticized about the move, the best decision was to join the Mozambican top side for the benefit of the team and the player.

"Wisdom [Mpinganjira] had five offers. Others from Qatar, Tunisia and other countries but then looking at the offers, very useless. We are moving to these countries where the players are given offers that can not help in their career."

"After assessing the deal from Black Bulls, I saw it that the player will benefit and the team as well that's why I recommended him to go. He will come back in January next year," he added.

Wisdom has been one of the team's bright stars.
