Mpinganjira remain optimistic for title after Nomads slip
Mighty Wanderers head coach, Bob Mpinganjira, remains positive that his team can still win the TNM Super League title despite that they missed a greater chance to have an advantage in the title race.
The Nomads managed to return to the North with just a point from two games after playing a goalless draw against Chitipa United last Sunday and also losing to Mzuzu City Hammers on Wednesday.
Mpinganjira said the chances are still on but it needs focus and hard work for his team to win the championship.
''The league is indeed title but we just need to remain focused in our remaining games and work hard to collect points. The chance are many but we just need good performance to get there,'' said Mpinganjira.
The Nomads will now face a two sided battle as Silver Strikers come behind them with a 9-points gap and two games in hand while FCB Nyasa Big Bullets lead on goal difference.
They have 56 points with five games left to wind
