Kanyenda diagnosed with liver cancer

Former Flames and Mighty Wanderers forward, Esau Kanyenda, has been diagnosed with liver cancer in United Kingdom.

Kanyenda confirmed the news on Monday through his facebook page where he said he is fighting for it and has asked for prayers from Malawians.

''Just to let you know that I’m diagnosed with liver cancer here in UK. I’m fighting for this. [I] Need your prayers,'' he wrote.

Meanwhile, soccer fans and his former teammates have sent comforting messages to Black Mamba wishing him well.
