"We want to win FDH Bank Cup" - Mpinganjira
Mighty Wanderers head coach, Bob Mpinganjira, said that he has talked to his players the need to fight and win the FDH Bank Cup as they are yet to set their hands on it since it was first launched in Malawi.
He said this on Wednesday ahead of their match against Mzuzu City Hammers in Rumphi on Thursday in the round of 16 match at the Rumphi Stadium.
Mpinganjira is upbeat that the fifth edition of the cup might go their way.
"We have never won this cup. We want to win it this year. It's an issue we have been discussing with the players and everyone knows how important it is to bring this cup home," he said.
Meanwhile, he confirmed that Gaddie Chirwa who got injured in their friendly against Civil Service United last week will miss the match due to injury.
Clement Nyondo is back from injury and Muhammad Sulumba is available while Rajab Nyirenda is being assessed on fitness.
A win for the Nomads will book a place in the Quarter finals.
